Prayer to make Spiritual Communion:
People who cannot communicate make spiritual communion:
At your feet, O my Jesus I bow down and offer you the repentance of my contrite heart, which abysses itself into its nothingness and Your holy presence. I adore you in the Sacrament of Your love, the ineffable Eucharist. I wish to receive you in the poor home that my heart offers you. In anticipation of the happiness of sacramental communion, I want to possess you in spirit. Come to me, oh my Jesus, that I may come to you. May Your love inflame my whole being, for life and death. I believe in you, I hope in you, I love you. So be it. Amen
Perpetual NOVENA Prayer to St. Theresa Little Flower:
O Little Therese of the Child Jesus, Please pick for me a rose, from the heavenly garden and send it to me, as a message of love. O Little Flower of Jesus, ask God to grant the favors I now place with confidence in your hands ( mention your special prayer request here ) St. Therese, help me to always believe, as you did, in God's great love for me, so that I may imitate your "Little Way" each day. Amen ( Say 1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary and 1 Glory Be each day)

Notice of Death: Father Clément Fillion passed away at Sarsfield Colonial Home on Saturday, February 27, 2021. He was 94 years old. Father Fillion was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Ottawa by Bishop Maurice Roy at the Colisée de Québec on June 12, 1954, during the Marian Congress. His first assignment was vicar at Saint-Jean-Baptiste Parish in L’Orignal, 1954-1958. He then became vicar at Saint-Paul Parish in Plantagenet until 1959, then at Très-Sainte-Trinité Parish in Rockland. From 1961-1982, he ministered in the Diocese of Hearst, where he was pastor in various parishes. In June 1982, he came back to the Archdiocese of Ottawa, where he was named administrator-pastor of Sainte-Thérèse d’Avila Parish in Marionville and Notre-Dame-de-la-Médaille-Miraculeuse Parish in Russell. He became confessor and chaplain at the Sisters of Precious Blood Monastery in Ottawa in 1984, and then assistant chaplain at Élisabeth-Bruyère Health Centre in 1985. He held these two positions until 1989, when he was named pastor of B.V. Marie-Médiatrice-de-toutes-les-Grâces Parish in Vanier. In 1992, he moved to L’Orignal, where he was named pastor of Saint-Jean-Baptiste Parish. Lastly, he was chaplain at Saint-Louis Residence in Orleans, and then at the Soeurs de la Visitation d'Ottawa Monastery, until his retirement on July 31, 2004. During his last years, he was celebrating Mass at the residences where he lived. His funeral took place on March 3 at Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica of Ottawa. Please remember Fr. Clément Fillion and his family in your prayers.
PRO-LIFE
Expansion of MAID Poses Danger to the Disabled and Mentally Ill: The Senate has amended Bill C-7. If these amendments pass the House of Commons, it will make it much easier for vulnerable Canadians to access assisted suicide and euthanasia putting them at increased risk. The amendments are: 1. Allowing people to write advance directives that require euthanasia to be administered if they are sick or disabled and lose the ability to make their own medical decisions. 2. Removing the restriction on euthanasia for people whose primary diagnosis is mental illness. This change will automatically take place 18 months after the Bill is passed. The Senate’s amendments will soon be sent back to the House of Commons for approval.
